William Rogers, 63, died Tuesday at 9:40 p.m. at his room at 105 1/2 South Court street, after about two weeks' illness. He was employed at the Naval air station and is survived by a son, Walter Rogers of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. J.E. Mallonee of Ottumwa and Mrs. A.E. Holcomb of Burlington. The body will remain at the Traul funeral chapel pending further arrangements.
Funeral services for William Rogers, who died Tuesday at his room on South Court street, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday from the Traul funeral chapel. The Rev. Lloyd C. Snyder of the West End Presbyterian church will be in charge and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
