George Hamm, 79, died at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at the home of his nephew, Harold Hamm of 445 South Ransom street. He had made his home here for the past three years. He was born October 20, 1863, in Van Buren county near Selma and lived the greater part of his life in Van Burren and Davis counties. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the Community Funeral service pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
Funeral services for George Hamm, 79, who died Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. at his home, 445 south Ransom street, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pentecostal Church of God, Church and Ransom streets, with the Rev. A.D. McClure in charge. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The body will be at the Community Funeral Service parlors until 1 p.m. Saturday.
