Mrs. Anna Jones, wife of the late Charles L. Jones, died at 3 p.m. Friday at her home, 409 West Woodland avenue. She was born May 19, 1856 in Bloomfield, the daughter of James and Sally Ann Lang. She is survived by two nieces Mrs. George Garland of Kansas City and Mrs. George Elliott of Ottumwa. Mrs. James had lived in Ottumwa since 1901 and was a member of the Daughters of Veterans and of the First Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the residence in charge of the Rev. John Blough pastor of the First Congregational church, and burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. The body will be at the Lester Jay funeral home until Monday morning. Mrs. Jones had requested no flowers.
