R.R. (Bob) Beasley, 56, of 521 Caldwell street on route 5, died at 5:20 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. He was born March 2, 1886 at Haysville the son of Leander and Emma Beasley. He had lived in Ottumwa for the past 22 years and was in the interior decorating business. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zoe Beasley, by one son, Rex Beasley of Ottumwa, and by three grandsons, Dayton Beasley, Keith Beasley, Ronald Beasley. He is also survived by the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Melvin Bowersox, Amoret, Missouri; Mrs. Howard Carson, Moravia, Mrs. May Gambell, Cedar Rapids; Dewey Beasley, Chicago,; Cleave Beasley and Homer Beasley both of Haysville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday from the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. A.D. McClure. Burial will be in the Pennington cemetery near Sigourney.
