Mrs. E.M. Fritz Dies At Age 81
Mrs. Anna K. Fritz, 81, widow of E.M. Fritz, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 7:30 a.m. today. Her home was at 114 Vogel avenue. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur McGavic, Kansas City, and two sons, Fred Fritz, Ottumwa and Carl B. Fritz Chicago. The daughter of Jacob and Katherine B. Bertsch, Mrs. Fritz was born September 28, 1861, in Davenport. She was a member of the First Presbyterian, Ottumwa, a charter member of the Order of Eastern Star at Oskaloosa, and a member of Wapello White Shrine, No. 4. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Richard Paul Graebel, D.D. pastor of the First Presbyterian church. There also will be an Eastern Star service. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery.
