Mrs. Mary Cleavenger, 76, of Albia route 3, died at the Miners hospital in Albia, Sunday at 3 p.m. She was the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Ramsey, born in Keokuk county September 9, 1865. She mad her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank L. Cordes. Her husband Francis Marion Cleavenger preceded her in death in 1933. The had been married March 2, 1884. In addition to Mrs. Cordes, she is survived by a son, Arthur of Ollie; five grandchildren and one great grandchild, and a sister, Mrs. Cathern Shafer of Fairfield. A son Van, and an infant son also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Methodist curch at Ollie, in charge of the Rev. Frank Shelley. The body will remain at Johnson's funeral chapel in Ottumwa until 1 p.m. Tuesday.
