Word has been received of the death in Long Beach of Charles C. Cloutman, formerly of Ottumwa and son of Captain C.C. Cloutman one of Ottumwa's Civil War heroes and the man for whom the local G.A.R. chapter is named. Mr. Cloutman suffered a stroke a few days after the death of his sister. Ella Dow Cloutman on March 30. Miss Cloutman had lived with her brother. Both bodies are to be brought to the Carroll Reece funeral home in Ottumwa, sometime later for burial in the Ottumwa cemmtery.
