Mrs. G.L. Blundell Dies Sunday Night
Mrs. Mary Eliza Luth Blundell wife of the late Giles L. Blundell died at her home, 804 Center avenue at 9 p.m. Sunday. Mrs. Blundell was born December 13, 1860, in Fulton, Missouri and moved to Ottumwa with her parents in 1880. She made her home in this city ever since that time. She was married to Giles L. Blundell October 11, 1886. He preceded her death. A son, Earl and two daughters, Alice E. and Dorothy Maye, preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Sue Catherine, at home, two sons, William Luth Blundell of Jamshedpur, India and Lyle L. of Amherst, Mass. and two grandchildren. Mrs. Blundell was a life long member of the First Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Richard Paul Graebel D.D. and burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. The casket will be closed before the service. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
