Edward Johnson Hull, 76, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Florence Springer, 1140 Orchard street, at 8:30 a.m. today. The son of Daniel and Ellen Elizabeth Hull, he was born in Lafayette county, Ohio, November 8, 1865. He had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past five years. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Harvey Swingle of Clarkston, Washington, Mrs. Lloyd Nixon of Fairfield, Mrs. Florence Springer of Ottumwa, Mrs. Meri Nixon of Fairfield, Helen Hull of Clarkston Washington and Margie Hill of Osborne, Kansas; three sons, Ralph of Alberta, Canada, Clarence and Paul of Fairfield; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers William of Ottumwa, and Lafe of Seymour; four sisters, Mrs. Rena Lewis of Glen Elder, Kansas, Mrs. Minnie Lewis of Bloomington, Kansas, Mrs. Margaret Pencott and Mrs. Nora Casteen of Warwick N.D. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral home.
