Mrs. Lucretia Granneman, 60, wife of C.F. Granneman, 205 North Sheridan avenue, died suddenly at 208 East Second street at 7:10 p.m. Saturday. Stricken while walking upstairs she was pronounced dead by a physician in the building. Death was due to a heart attack. She was the daughter of Isaac and Lucy M. Knox, born in Wapello county March 15, 1881. She had been a resident of the county her entire life, and a resident of Ottumwa for 20 years. Mrs. Granneman was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. She married C.F. Granneman April 18, 1909. He survives her. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Lucy M. Blystone, Ottumwa; Fannie Knox and Mrs. Alice Meeker, Riverside, and Mrs. Luelia Miller of Eddyville, and a brother, William of Ottumwa. Two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Short services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral chapel 2:30 p.m. from the St. Paul's Lutheran church, conducted by the Rev. R.J. Huck. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Miller, Carl Carlson, Robert Knox, Bill Heckart, Tom Kendall and Orville Cline, all nephews of Mrs. Granneman
