Woman Drops Dead On North Court Street
Miss Ida Bollinger, 68, of 614 North Wapello street, dropped dead on Court street near Pennsylvania avenue at 4 p.m. Saturday. Stricken while walking on the sidewalk, she was carried into a home, but was pronounced dead by a physician. Miss Bollinger was born in Ottumwa, December 23, 1873 the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Bollinger. Surviving are a brother, Harry E. of Ottumwa. Preceding her in death were four brothers Chauncey W., Lester T., Sidney and Jess J. who died in November 22, 1941. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:20 p.m. from the Pentecostal church, conducted by the Rev. A,D. McClure. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Johnson funeral chapel to the church at noon Wednesday.
