Mrs. Eliza B. Ross, 81, of Trenton, Iowa, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hazel Miller, 507 Grant street, at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. She was the daughter of John and Providence Hite and was born at Trenton November 18, 1859. She was a member of the Methodist church of Trenton. Besides Mrs. Miller, she is survived by three sons, Berlin Ross of Clarkston, Washington, Arlia Ross of Mt. Pleasant and Carl E. Ross of Ottumwa; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, a brother, Jobe Hite of Liberty Center. She was preceded in death by her husband and three children. Funeral services will be at the Miller home at 12:30 p.m. Monday and at 2 p.m. in the Trenton Methodist church conducted by the Rev. W.J. Creswell. Burial will be in the Green Mound cemetery, a mile west of Trenton.
