67-Year-Old Resident Is Dead
Mrs. Ida Larson 74, wife of Alfred Larson died at 5:15 p.m. Friday at her home, 218 North Van Buren avenue. She was born in West Ergatedan, Sweden, August 22, 1866. She came to this country with her parents when five years old. The family lived in Henry county, and then removed to Ottumwa. She had been a resident of this community for 67 years. She was married to Alfred Larson June 12, 1901, in Ottumwa. He survives her. Mrs. Larson was a member of the Swedish Congregational church of Ottumwa. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Carroll Reece funeral home, in charge of Mrs. R.L. Morgan. Burial will be in the Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Axel Ask, Emil Ask, George Ferguson, Anton Johnson, Oscar Green and Frank Hasselquist.
