Mrs. Adele S. Brown
Word has been received here of the death in Los Angeles Sunday, March 2, of Mrs. Adele S. Brown sister of Mrs. S.A. Spilman 125 East Maple avenue, with whom she made her home for several years. Mrs. Brown is survived by her sister, Mrs. Spilman; a brother James C. Sellers of Los Angeles but formerly of London, England, and a nephew, Leo Dowling of Lon Angeles. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, E.A. Brown who was a newspaper publisher in Nebraska City. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Los Angeles and were conducted by the Very Rev. Dean Bloy of St. Paul's cathedral. The ashes will be brought to Ottumwa.
