Obit posted in Ottumwa Courier February 11, 1941 Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, 48, died Wednesday at 4 P.m. at 1117 Hayne street. She was born in Ottumwa, February 28, 1892, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gustaveson. She had lived in Ottumwa all her life and was educated here. Surviving are her mother; Mrs. Emma Gustaveson of Ottumwa; sister, Ruth of Ottumwa, and brothers Carl, Arthur and Francis all of Ottumwa. Her father preceded her in death in 1933. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Carroll Reece funeral home, conducted by the Rev. W.J. Creswell. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Nelson, Donald, Carl and Bruce Hallgren and Herbert and Elmer Vaughan. The body is at the funeral home.
