Life Resident Of Ottumwa Dies
Guy H. Scully, 51, of 224 Pocahontas street, died at 5:50 a.m. today at the Ottumwa hospital. He was the son of James and Louisa Scully and was born in Ottumwa February 6, 1889. He has resided in the city his entire life. Mr. Scully was a member of the Church of the Brethren. He is survived by his wife, Ada; two sons, Leroy of Ottumwa and Harold at home; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Ware of Ottumwa; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Porter, Ottumwa; Mrs. Mae Schanze of Chicago and Mrs. Minnie Herbert of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Short services will be held at the Johnson funeral chapel Monday at 2 p.m. and at the Church of the Brethren, at 2:30 the Rev. Charles A. Albin in charge. Burial will be in Shaul cemetery.
