Mrs. Ethel M. Bottorff, 44 wife of Emery Bottorff, Eddyville route 1, died at her home in Columbia township Sunday at 6:15 a.m. Mrs. Bottorff was born in Wapello county June 14, 1896, the daughter of Walter S. and Grace McMullen. Surviving are her husband Emery; daughters Virginia Lee and Shirley Ann, both at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter McMullen; sisters Mrs. Ralph Head of Toledo Ohio and Mrs. A. E. Richards of Golden Colorado and a brother, Harry McMullen of Laramie Wyoming. Mrs. Bottorff was a member of the Columbia Methodist church. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Columbia church conducted by the Rev. Lawrence Hight and Mrs. Hight. Burial will be in McCormick cemetery. The body will be taken to the home at 5 p.m.
