Death Comes to Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis, 61
Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis, 51 southeastern Iowa native died at St. Joseph hospital Sunday at 6 a.m. Her home was 1401 North Court street. Mrs. Ellis was born at Milton August 8, 1889. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church, its Altar and Rosary society and of the auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are brother, Peter Klodt of Milton, Frank Klodt of Seattle WA, William Klodt of Ottumwa, Albert Klodt of Bainsville Montana and George Klodt of Milton: sister Mrs. Theresa M. Emanuel of Iowa City; seven nephews and three nieces. Her husband, son and a brother preceded her in death. Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the Moroney funeral home, conducted by the V.F.W. auxiliary and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's church. Requiem high mass will be celebrated by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. J.M. Walsh V.F. Burial will be in the Eldon cemetery. The Altar and Rosary society of St. Mary's church will meet at the Moroney funeral home tonight at 8 o'clock to recite the rosary. Nephews will be pallbearers.
