Mrs. Loretta Gimbel Bartlett, 57, who for the past 15 years has been a patient at St. Joseph's hospital, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. She was born in Davenport December, 29, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gimbel. She was married in June of 1906 to Gayden S. Bartlett, who preceded her in death in January of 1920. She attended Immaculate Conception academy at Davenport. Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Miller of Davenport and Mrs. E. B. Sterling of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and brothers, William E. Gimbel of Chicago and G. T Gimbel of Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic church in Davenport with requiem high mass celebrated by the Rev. Father Bolger. Burial will be made in St. Margaret's cemetery, Davenport. The body will remain at the Traul funeral chapel until 7 a. m. Thursday.
