James Brooks
Died At Age 77
James T. Brooks, 77, died at his home, 422 South Moore street, Monday at 10:45 p.m. He was the son of Anderson and Mary Brooks and was born in Monroe County February 8, 1863. He had lived in Ottumwa for the last 60 years. Surviving are his wife, Mary: daughter Mrs. G. B. Clarke of Wymore, Neb; son, Clarence Brooks of Atwood, Kansas; brother Robert of Ottumwa. Services for James T. Brooks who died at his home 422 South Moore street, Monday, will be held at Johnson's funeral chapel Thursday at 3:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure pastor of the Pentecostal church. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery.
