Linda L. Pappaducas, 51, of Ottumwa, died at 3:05 p.m. May 8, 1997, at the Good Samaritan Center. She was born March 30, 1946, in Oskaloosa to Albert and Helen Williams Caves. She married Robert S. Pappaducas March 26, 1967, in Fremont. She grew up in the Cedar and Fremont area and was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1964 and the Iowa Success School in 1966. She had been an employee of Union Bank & Trust, the Civil Defense, and she and her husband operated Brody's Store for Men. She was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church, the American Business Women's Association Ollepaw Chapter, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Oskaloosa. She had been involved in the PTA, Band Boosters and in scouting. She is survived by her husband; a son, Brian Pappaducas of Des Moines; a daughter, Krista Pappaducas of Ames; and her mother, Helen Caves of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her father. The service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. Margaret Butler of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be begin after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Chris Brown, Tom Thomas, Mike Frazier, Russ Myers, Dave Delaney and Jay Chickering. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Center and the Davis County Hospital for Long Term Care.
