Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Friday, September 16, 1927:

MRS. SARAH DUNN.

Mrs. Sarah H. Dunn died this morning at 4:30 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.F. Ballard,, 214 West Wilson street. She was 69 years old. Her husband preceded her in death ten years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. R.F. Ballard and Mrs. C.M. Allee, of Unionville, Mo., and one son, Albert Dunn of Gallion, O. Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. Russell E. Kauffman, pastor of the Plymouth Congregational church. Interment will be made in Shaul cemetery.
