Ottumwa Courier, April 2, 1951

Mrs. Isabel Bogle (**corrected confirmed spelling is Vogel), age 57, route 8, Ottumwa, died Saturday noon at the University hospital in Iowa City. Born December 6, 1893, she had lived in Ottumwa for the past 30 years. Survivors include her four daughters, Mrs. Charles Dent of Davenport, Mrs. Roland McBeth of DesMoines, Mrs. Jess Bivens and Mrs. Jack Price, both of Ottumwa; as son, Ross of Davenport; two brothers, John and Frank Howard both of Santa Barbara, Calif., Mrs. Nita Hoover of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Elphie Surber of Ottumwa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Traul funeral home in charge of Major W.E. Lee of the Salvation Army. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery.
