Mrs. C.E. Cain

Mrs. Isyl Faye Cain, 69, of 905 E. Mary St., died Sunday at 5:10 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital.

She was born Sept. 11, 1904, in Davis County, the daughter of Joseph and Dora Garrettson [sic-should be Garretson] Waller.

She had lived in the Ottumwa area until 1943 when the family moved to Monroe County where they farmed for 15 years. In 1952, they moved to a farm near Bloomfield where they lived until moving to Ottumwa a year ago.

Her marriage to Clarence Ed Cain took place Oct. 14, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Donald Eugene Cain of Clinton; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one brother, Charles Lee Waller of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and two brothers.

The service will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Reece Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Brunk of the Evangelistic Temple officiating. Burial will be in the Agency Cemetery.
