Logan Ramsey [Date of death: Monday, Feb. 8, 1965]

Logan Ramsey, 79, of 127 S. Cherry died at the Solt Nursing Home, 109 N. College, Monday at 10:15 p.m. following a long illness.

He was born Feb. 15, 1885, at Chillicothe, the son of William and Mary Gardner Ramsey. He had lived here most of his life.

He had been employed by John Morrell & Co., for 21 years, retiring in 1950.

Survivors include his widow, Amie; two stepsons, Wendell Garman and Teddy Garman, both of Ottumwa; one step-daughter, Mrs. Joanna Stufflebeam of Lake Placid, Fla.; five step-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Dora Oliver, of Fort Madison.

One brother, Thomas, preceded him in death.

The body is at the Johnson Funeral Chapel.
