August 17, 1887Grandpa Day who has been confined to his bed for some time, died Monday Aug. 8 at 4 p.m.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Walrath at the Baptist Church, where a large crowd was collected to hear the last sad rites for one of the oldest pioneers of the town.
