Shepherd-At the family home, 1113 North Court street at 3:45 o'clock this morning occurred the death of Edwin C., the 2-year-old son of James H. and Minnie Mae Shepherd. Pneumonia was the cause of death which saddened the hearts in the Shepherd home and took from them the light of their household.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment in Ottumwa cemetery.
