JAY FUNERAL HOME

Fred E. Flowers 61 of 507 Grant died at 12:45 a.m. today Nov. 27th at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He was born Aug. 10, 1917 in Summers, Arkansas to Charles and Naomi Fisher Flowers. He was a WW II VET and employee of Burlington Railroad. He was a member of MASON GOLDEN LODGE NO 4 and Burlington Vets. He married Mary Green on April 17, 1944 in Ottumwa.

Survivors; his wife, daughters; Marion Braugh of Burlington and Linda Kay Reed of Houston, Texas; sons Freddie Lee of Minneapolis, MINN and Michael Wayne and Jeffrey E. of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren brothers; Coyn of Ottumwa and Clarence and a sister Leslie Coleman of Springfield, MASS.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jay Funeral Home. Burial will be at Ottumwa Cemetery with the American Legion Graveside Services.
