On Wednesday evening as the passenger train on the Central Railroad of Iowa was going north at 8 o’clock, baggage-master, A. Stark in passing from the baggage car to the express car, on the side railing, a few rods from this station, slipped and fell to the ground: breaking his neck and killing him instantly. Mr. Stark is a young man and resides at Ottumwa, Iowa.
