Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” June 14, 1924:

MRS. ELIZABETH ANDREUS

Mrs. Elizabeth Andreus, a resident of this county for forty-eight years, died at 10:10 o’clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Rosa Day, six miles southwest of Ottumwa.

Her daughters, Mrs. Day and Mrs. Clara Hall of Ottumwa, son, Oscar Andreus of Olympia, Wash., six grandchildren, two great-grandsons and two sisters survived.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Andreus was held this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Roscoe mortuary with Rev. G.O. Marsh in charge. Burial was in Shaul cemetery.
