Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” June 11, 1913:

DEATHS

JOSEPH–Tuesday, June 10, 1913, Margaret Loretta, wife of Oliver M. Joseph, at the home of her daughter Mrs. D.S. Miller, 708 Finley avenue, after a lingering illness. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the residence at 2 o’clock. Rev. Frank Throw, pastor of the West End Presbyterian church will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Shaul cemetery.

The deceased has been a resident of Ottumwa for a number of years and was well known. Besides her husband, seven children survive. They are William of Bedford, Marion of Rock Island, Frank and James Joseph and Mrs. D.S. Miller all of Ottumwa, Mrs. Maude Henness and Mrs. W.A. Staper of Rock Island.
