Funeral Services Held Saturday for Kaycee Pioneer

Rolly Gosney, 85-year-old Kaycee pioneer, died Nov. 3 at Johnson County Memorial hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 5, at 2 p.m. from the Adams Funeral home with the Rev. James Power officiating. Burial was in the family plot in Willow Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Fred Nicholas sang two hymns accompanied by Mrs. Martin Camino at the organ.

Pallbearers include his four sons, Elmer, Leo, William and Ray Gosney, and Marvel Denny and Frank Eychaner.

Mr. Gosney was born June 14, 1875 in Ottumwa, Ia. and lived in Buffalo from 1916 to 1918. He had made his home in Kaycee since 1918.

He is survived by his wife, Johanna of Kaycee; four sons, Leo of Thermopolis, Raymond, Elmer and William of Kaycee; three daughters, Winifred Hoosier of Rapid City, Bertha Denny of Lander, and Dorothy Haines of Casper; one sister, Pearl Cahill of Denver, and one brother, Ray Gosney of Marshalltown, Ia.
