Jennie L Dennis, 89, of 417
N Sheridan died at 9:30 a.m. in Jefferson Square Manor.

She was born March 29,1888, at Delta to Mr. & Mrs. Conrad Bender, was reared & educated at Belle Plain, Kansas, was a member of Women's Relief Corps & lived in Ottumwa since 1926. She married Mark Leon Dennis, December 26, 1905 at Wellington, Kansas He died in 1958. Survivors son, Paul of Ottumwa, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Services: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, with the Rev Billy Pool of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Burial: McCormick Cemetery at Highland Center.
