Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” May 7, 1928:

MRS. PHOEBE A. HARSCH.

Mrs. Phoebe A. Harsch, widow of George Harsch, died at the home of her nephew, R.S. Kelsey, north of Ottumwa, at 10 o’clock Saturday night. Her home was at 132 North Moore street.

She is survived by the following nephews and nieces: Mrs. Katie McClure and Miss Cora Brown of Coatsville, Ind., Mrs. Della Brunson of Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. Alice Tuttle of Colorado, Mrs. Ella Williams of Iola, Kan., Mrs. Ollie Shepherd of Downey, Calif., Frank Brown of Coatsville, Ind., Charles Kelsey of Zuni, N.M., and R.S. Kelsey and A.M. Kelsey of Ottumwa.

The funeral was held at 2 o’clock this afternoon in the Willard Street Methodist Episcopal church, with the Rev. L.H. Lanning in charge. Burial was in Shaul cemetery.
