Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” Thursday, June 14, 1928:

William Stribling, 917 Clinton avenue, died at 5 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Warren Hoogenwoning. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.

“STRIBLING FUNERAL,” From “Ottumwa Courier,” Friday, June 15, 1928:

Funeral services for William Stribling, who died early Thursday morning, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Roscoe mortuary. Major T.W. Parkhouse will have charge of the services and burial will be made in Shaul cemetery. Mr. Stribling is survived by the following children: Ralph Stribling, of Ft. Des Moines; Roy Stribling of Nevada, Iowa; Mrs. Delmar Olmstead, of Davenport; Mrs. A. Hoogenwoning and Mrs. W.A. Hoogenwoning, both of Ottumwa.
