The last sad rites ever the remains of Mrs. T. J. Sloan who died Thurs day at her home in Des Moines were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the W. H. Giltner residence 1209 North Court Street. Rev. D. J. Elsea, pastor of the First Christian church, conducted the services. Nephews of the deceased acted as pall bearers. Interment was made in the Ottumwa cemetery.
