OBITUARY.

Joseph Ornduff was born Nov. 22, 1835, near Pittsburg, Penn., died Feb, 14, 1911 in the Jamestown hospital of Jamestown, North Dakota, having attained the high age of 76 years, 2 months and 22 days. He served three years in the civil war in the capacity of a teamster, having enlisted in the state of Pennsylvania. He was married to Miss Frances Sharp. To this union were born eight children, four boys and four girls, which are as follows: Will, Minnie of North Dakota, Frank, Etta of North Dakota, Isaac of North Dakota, Susie of Nebraska.
Of the above named Will, Frank, Etta, and an unnamed infant and the wife preceded the deceased to the great beyond. Isaac the fourth son accompanied the aged father to his last resting place near Batavia, Iowa.
Funeral services were held at the M. E. church in Batavia, Iowa, Feb. 18, con¬ducted by Rev. O. J. Fix after which the body was laid to rest in the Dunkard cemetery.—Contributed.
