SISTER CLAIMS BODY
Man in Omaha Undertaking Establish¬ment Identified as James Albaugh of Ottumwa.
The body of the man in the Cole McKay undertaking establishment at Omaha, which was thought to be the remains of James Palmer of Ottumwa, was identified by his sister, who lives at Batavia, as her brother, James Albaugh. At the time of Albaugh's death, no relatives of the dead man could be located and the undertakers
wrote the Courier asking that they give publicity to the matter. The story was inserted in the paper and the man's sister living at Batavia recognized the man by the description given as her brother. She telegraphed the Omaha undertakers and later went there and claimed the body. The remains were brought to Batavia where
interment was made in the Batavia cemetery.
