Mrs. Bessie Lauderback Clanin, 33, wife of Omar Clanin of Lone Tree, died at Mercy hospital in Iowa City Sunday at 3:20 PM. She was a former Ottumwan. She was the daughter of John and Mabel Lauderback and was born in Chariton, November 24, 1902. Surviving are her husband Omar; an infant daughter Martha Jean; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Sheets and Mrs. Harold Chisman and Mrs. Arthur Canny of Ottumwa; and three brothers, Ray Lauderback of Chicago, James of Waterloo and Arthur of Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3:30 PM in Johnson's funeral Chapel here, conducted by the Rev. Eugene C. Beach. Burial be made in the Shaul cemetery. The body was taken to the home of her sister Mrs. Arthur Canny, 120 S. Fellows Ave., at 6 PM today. It will be returned to Johnson's Chapel at noon on Wednesday.
