Mrs. Johnson 89, Succumbs Early Sunday
Mrs. Ingrid Lena Johnson, 89, died at her home 209 S. Moore St., Sunday at 9:10 AM. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carlson and was born in Sweden January 6, 1847. She came to the United States directly to Ottumwa 46 years ago. She had lived here since. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Robinson of McGregor and Alma Johnson at home; one son J. G. Larson of Porterville, California; one stepdaughter, Alice Johnson at home and two step sons, Victor of Belvidere and John H. of Chicago Illinois. Short services will be held at the home Tuesday and at 9 AM and at 9:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Malvin H. Lundeen. Burial be made in the Ottumwa cemetery. The body was taken to the home at 1 PM today.
