Ottumwa Courier June 15, 1936

David William Newell infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph C. Newell, Ollie route 2, died at St. Joseph's hospital Saturday at 5:30 PM. Surviving are his parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Newell of Ottumwa route 8, and Mrs. Charles Van Winkle of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and his great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Mael of Ottumwa. Short services were held at Johnson's funeral Chapel today at 10 AM, conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure burial be in the Kirkville cemetery.
