Edwin Larson, 38 of Dudley, died at the Ottumwa hospital Friday at 4 PM. He was the son of Emil and Ida Larson and was born September 13, 1897 at Frederick. He was married to Wynona Opal Nye on October 6, 1926. She preceded him in death June 15, 1930. He was also preceded in death by his mother, December 8, 1924, and one brother, Martin. He was confirmed in the Lutheran Church at Munterville May 11, 1913. Surviving are one son, Billy Dee; his father, Emil Larson of Dudley; three brothers, Elmer and Glen Larson of Dudley and Herbert of Knoxville; two sisters, Mrs. Re Dena Gustaveson of Ottumwa and Miss Florence Larson of Dudley, and mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Nye of Dudley, with whom he had made his home. Short funeral services will be held at the Nye residence Sunday at 1 PM and at 1:30 at the Columbia church, conducted by the Rev. L. Ellinger of Oskaloosa. Burial be made in the Columbia cemetery. Friends may call at Johnson's until 9 AM Sunday when the body will be taken to the Nye residence.
