Mrs. Catherine Wood, 1002 S. Sheridan Ave., died at the Ottumwa hospital today at 10:30 AM. She was the daughter of the Rev. Francis Rederus and Mrs. Rederus and was born in Holland. She was a member of the East End Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Dooley of Ottumwa; one sister, Marie Rederus of Ottumwa, and two grandchildren, Lore and Bobby Dooley, both of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Wood, in 1927. Short services will be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel at 1:30 PM Saturday and at 2 PM at the East End Presbyterian Church, conducted by the Rev. W. J. Creswell. Burial be made in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.
