John Robert Forney, 8, son of Caroll Forney, died Saturday at 2:52 PM in his home 1 1/2 miles West of Chillicothe. He had been ill for some time. Surviving are his father and stepmother; four sisters, Lorene, Margaret, Betty Carol and Joann; two brothers, Richard and Jackie; two step sisters, Helen and Marcene; one step brother, Raymond, all at home and his grandparents John Forney of Batavia and Mr. and Mrs. W. Porter of Fairfield. He was preceded in death by his mother, in 1933 and his grandmother. Short funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 1 PM and at the Pentecostal church at 2 PM conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial be made in Batavia cemetery. Friends may call at Johnson's funeral Chapel until late tonight when the body will be taken to the home.
