Mrs. Katherine Brothers, 61, wife of John Brothers, 155 N. Ransom St., died at 2 AM today at the St. Joseph hospital. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. C. Martin and Miss Mary Brothers, both of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; three sons, Francis, William, and Edmund, all at home; six sisters, Mrs. William Carr and Mrs. John Cavanaugh, Albia, Mrs. J. J. Carmody of Melrose, Mrs. Agnes O'Connor of Iowa City, Mrs. W. W. Dewey of St. Louis, Missouri, and Mrs. Elizabeth Nelson of East St. Louis, Illinois, and one brother Matt Walsh of Melrose. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at the home at 8:30 and at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at nine o'clock, with the Rev. B. J. Decker celebrating the Requiem high mass. Burial be made in the Calvary cemetery. Members of the General Shields Council, No. 888, will meet in the K. of C. home at 6:45 PM Sunday to go to the home to recite the Rotary at 7:15 PM. The Catholic Daughters of Forrester's will meet at the Brothers home at 7:15 to join in the Rotary.
