RUTH BOLIBAUGH RITES CONDUCTED

Ruth M. Bolibaugh, 83, of Oskaloosa died Wednesday, April 20 at Grinnell General Hospital.

Memorial services were conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Eddyville Christian Church, with the Revs. Elry Jeffries and Randy Gaumer officiating. Burial was in Memorial Lawns Cemetery at Ottumwa, with the Eddyville Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Ernest, Alan, Wade and Grant Bolibaugh, Ron DeRooi and Ed Williams.

The daughter of Ira and Margaret Jones Miller, she was born Sept. 27, 1904, in Wapello County. She was married to Dean S. Bolibaugh July 14, 1928. They lived in the Eddyville area for most of their lives. They retired to Arizona, and Mrs. Bolibaugh returned to Oskaloosa in 1984.

She was a 50-year member of Eastern Star and a member of the Eddyville Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Paul of Bloomfield and Donald of Oskaloosa; one daughter, Alice DeRooi of Grinnell; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen Griffiths and Edith Rubel, both of Ottumwa, and Louise Engle of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons; two sisters and one brother.
