Miss Daisy Erskine

ELDON. - Miss Daisy Ethel Erskine, 78, died Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Hershey Convalescent Hospital in Muscatine.

She was born at Floris, Oct. 18, 1886, the daughter of Frank and Rachel Hunt Erskine. She had been a school teacher in the Iowa public schools for 36 years.

Miss Erskine was a member of the Methodist Church in Eldon where she had served as a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ora Shaffer of Selma and Miss Chloe Erskine of Eldon.

The service was this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Campbell Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Lacy Thompson. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.
