William Hollis Moore, 80, died the morning of June 5, at Sunnyslope Care Center, Ottumwa.
He was born Feb. 4, 1900, in Eldon to Frank and Lelia Barker Moore and always lived in Eldon. He married Josephine Wise Aug. 2, 1930. She died May 23, 1980.
He retired in 1965 after 30 years in Eldon's waterworks and street departments. He attended the Congregational Church.
Survivors: a sister, Berniece Witte of Eldon.
Services were Saturday, June 7, 1980 at 2 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, the Rev. Steve Conte officiating. Burial was in Eldon Cemetery.
