Jon E. Baldridge

ELDON - Jon E. Baldridge, 37, of Eldon, was dead on arrival Saturday morning, March 19, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Campbell Kremer Funeral Home in Batavia with the Rev. David Albert officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery. Visitation is open at the funeral home with the family present from 7 to 8 tonight. A memorial has been established to the Eldon Rescue Unit.

Baldridge was born July 27, 1956, in Fairfield, the son of John and Wilma Moore Baldridge. He was reared and educated in Batavia, attended the Cardinal School System, and studied carpentry at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. He was employed at Rockwell International in Fairfield. On Aug. 2, 1985, he married Phyllis Major in Ottumwa. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Rikki and Jon Te` Baldridge, both at home; his parents of Batavia; a brother, Milton of Fairfield; three sisters, Julie Durflinger of Fairfield, Karen Baldridge of Batavia and Nora Rupe of Eldon.
