Resident 75 Years Dies Here Sunday
Mrs. Mary Mollie Morrison 84, died Sunday at 2:20 AM in the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Joe Genochio, 312 N. Marion St. She had been an Ottumwa and for the last 75 years. She was born in Ohio, October 29, 1851 coming to Ottumwa in 1860. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William Freeman of Chicago, Mrs. Charles Spurlock of Ottumwa and Mrs. Jess Ramey of Batavia; two sons, Frank Brady and Ray Morrison both of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. William Spears of Ottumwa and Mrs. David Albright of Des Moines; one brother Will Hopkins of Agency; 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday in the Moroney funeral home conducted by the Rev. R. W. Swick burial will be made in Agency cemetery. The body will remain at the Moroney funeral home until the time of the services. Pallbearers will be Don Spurlock, Paul Spurlock, Pete Gillian, Frank Morrison, Charles Howard, and Dick Douds.
